Choose the View That Works for You

Building a fertility app is no small feat—especially when you're building it for people who expect precision. The Marquette Method is built on careful observation and evidence-based decision making, and we love the challenge of creating tools that support that process.
When we first launched the app beta, one piece of feedback came up again and again: users wanted a calendar view. As development continued, we heard something even more specific from Marquette NFP instructors. While the calendar was helpful for seeing how charting fit into everyday life, they also wanted a view that allowed them to better compare cycles over time.
It turns out everyone has a slightly different preference for how they like to view their chart—and that makes sense because every cycle is unique. So, we went back to the drawing board and created a feature we think you'll love.
Introducing: The New Chart View
All you have to do is swipe! From the Calendar screen, simply swipe left to switch between Calendar View and Chart View.

Calendar View lets you see your charting in the context of your daily life, while Chart View displays your data cycle by cycle in a format that should feel familiar if you're used to paper charts or spreadsheets.
Customize It Your Way
We didn’t stop there, though! Our engineering team went one step further and made the chart view even more powerful by making it customizable. You can get a full picture of your cycle or compare particular metrics across all your cycles!
Just tap the three dots in the upper-right corner to customize exactly what you see. You can choose which biomarkers and guides are displayed, making it easy to focus on the information that matters most to you.

For example, you might:
Compare bleeding patterns across multiple cycles.
View your monitor results versus cervical mucus observations.
Quickly see which cycle had your earliest Peak.
Show both calendar dates and cycle days, only one of them, or neither.

Spot Trends More Easily
Chart View can also make it easier to recognize patterns over time.
For example, if you display your monitor or cervical mucus observations, you can quickly identify your Peak and compare the length of your luteal phase from cycle to cycle. The length of this phase can be pretty telling in regards to your fertile health. It's a great way to help understand what's typical for your body and to get a sense of when your next cycle may begin—without relying on predictions.
Built From Your Feedback
One of our favorite parts of building Marquette NFP Pro is hearing directly from the people who use it every day.
Chart View exists because of conversations with instructors and users who shared how they chart, teach, and review cycles. We're grateful for every suggestion you've shared, and we hope this new feature helps you gain even more insight into your fertility.
Have ideas for what we should build next? We'd love to hear from you.
