Answering Your Questions
No. Marquette NFP™ Pro is designed to support instruction, not replace it. While the app makes charting easier and applies the Marquette NFP™ algorithm to the data, interpretation, application, and personalized guidance will always come from trained Marquette NFP™ instructors. Our goal is always to support couples working with their Instructors.
Yes. Marquette NFP™ Pro uses the official Marquette NFP™ algorithm to calculate the fertile window based on user-entered biomarkers. There are no AI-generated predictions, or black-box calculations.
Yes. Marquette NFP™ Pro is the official app of the Boland Institute for Natural Family Planning at Marquette University. It was developed with guidance from Dr. Mary Schneider and tested by Marquette NFP™ instructors.
That being said, we recognize that instructors and their couples each have their own unique cycles and preferences for charting as well. Using the Marquette NFP™ app is not a requirement, there are many other apps that offer fertility charting and, of course, paper charts!

Yes. Certified Marquette NFP™ instructors can apply for a discount code to share with their clients. These codes are intended to support the instructor–couple relationship by making it easier for couples to get started with Marquette NFP™ Pro while staying closely connected to their instructor. Yes! You can absolutely use your instructor discount code for your own subscription.
We believe users should always be in control of their personal health information. Chart data is private by default, and users choose if, when, and with whom they share their information—including their instructor. You can read our privacy policy here.
Marquette NFP™ Pro helps make charting easier for couples. This aids instructors in teaching the method to a more and more technology focused generation. The app also features charts exported in the same format as paper charts and offers insights specific to the Marquette Method such as the earliest peak in the last 6 cycles.
